Sometimes it's just great to get away. With three children, I'm not usually one for spontaneity in my 'old age' (26 going on 60) but the wife and I decided to just go for it.
2 weeks ago we booked the holiday in a lovely little apartment near Ibiza's famous old town through Airbnb. What a gorgeous island. I have to admit, what ran through my mind was eye ball Paul and his crewe of raving hippies but in actual fact I was so pleasantly surprised. I guess we went off season, the weather was perfect for the baby sling and walking around and we stayed out of the way of any mad ravers! The beach at Playa D'en Bossa was fab, with all kinds of bars and places to eat. We also took a trip to San Antonio on the bus, we made some fab memories.
Recently we made a pact, to go on as many holidays as possible, this is hopefully the first of many amazing adventures to come.
I look forward to doing some more awesome weddings in the meantime, before we head off on our next journey!
